From April 20 to 25, three ESCP students took part in the Business Immersion Week hosted by the BFSU International Business School — a unique five-day experience held in Shenzhen, one of China’s most dynamic cities.
Together with BFSU professors, students, and international participants from around the world, the ESCP students joined a multicultural team to explore some of China’s leading companies. The group visited Yongfuyuan Ceramics(Auratic), SF Express, OPPO, and Transsion Holdings — learning directly from executives and engaging on site to understand how these firms innovate, expand globally, and stay competitive.
But it wasn’t all boardrooms and business briefs. The trip also gave students a chance to experience Shenzhen itself — one of China’s top-tier cities known for its rapid growth, tech-driven vibe, creative spirit, and exciting food scene. Between company visits, the group explored local landmarks and got a taste of everyday life in a modern Chinese metropolis.
This unforgettable week offered much more than classroom theory. It was a hands-on learning journey that connected students from around the world with China’s fast-changing business world — and left them with new knowledge, new friendships, and a new perspective on global business.
